 Oil Well Cement Fluid Loss Agent XBA-205SP

XBA-205SP is the dried product of XBA-205L, and the performance is similar.

XBA-205SP has good compatibility with all kinds of API cement and other oil well cement admixtures. XBA-205SP could effectively reduce the fluid loss of freshwater cement slurry, seawater cement slurry and brine cement slurry.

XBA-205SP has a certain retarding effect in medium and low temperature cement slurry systems. In addition, XBA-205SP has a certain dispersion effect on cement slurry and improves the rheological effect, which is benefit to cement slurry design. XBA-205SP could reduce the dosage of retarder for medium and low temperature cement slurry due to the retarding properties. It makes thickening time insensitive to the changes of temperature and dosage. What’s more, XBA-205SP has an auxiliary effect on prolonging the thickening time of high temperature cement slurry.

Application

XBA-205SP could be used through wet-mixing or dry-mixing, and the dosage is 0.2 ~ 2.0% (BWOC). The actual dosage is related to the type of cement slurry, the density of cement slurry, and the use temperature.

XBA-205SP is usually used in the cement slurry above 60 , and the highest applicable temperature could above 200.

Dosage in salt water will be slightly higher than fresh water depending on the salt concentration. The actual amount is determined through experiments according to the construction temperature and the cement slurry performance requirements.

Packaging and storage

XBA-205SP is packed with 25kg bags. Other specifications can also be selected according to customer requirements. Packaged products should be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, rain, dampage and broken bags. The shelf life is 3 years, and it could be used after passing the inspection, while the shelf life is exceeded.
